How this report is built
The ranking uses the latest published annual percentage change for every country with a quality-gated official house-price history. Countries are ordered by annual movement; ties are resolved by country name.
Empty or insufficient sections are withheld. Every published row has an approved series, a valid market route and a finite current measure.
Caveats
Limits on comparison
- Release calendars differ, so the table shows the applicable period beside every country.
- National indices can cover different property types, transaction stages and geographies; direction is more comparable than index scope.
- Nominal house-price movement does not adjust for consumer-price inflation.
