BIS supplies a cross-country national residential property price benchmark. OECD also adds rent and price-to-rent indices, all normalized to 2015 = 100.
National compilation methods and dwelling coverage still vary. These indices cannot answer what a home costs in a specific city or how much listing inventory is available.
