Scope and acceptance

These terms apply to the Global Property Metrics website, public pages, downloads and related services. By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Global Property Metrics is an early-stage data publication project. It does not currently offer paid plans, user accounts or a guaranteed service level.

Official data and interpretation

Published values are drawn from identified public-sector publishers, including statistical offices, central banks and land registries. Global Property Metrics is independent from those publishers and is not endorsed by them.

Source periods, geographic coverage, property scope, units, update cadence and freshness vary. Values may be revised, delayed, incomplete or unsuitable for a particular purpose. The service is informational and is not financial, investment, valuation, tax or legal advice.

Acceptable use

• Use the service lawfully and do not misrepresent data, provenance, coverage or affiliation.
• Do not interfere with availability, probe for vulnerabilities, bypass access controls or rate limits, or attempt to obtain another user’s key.
• Do not use the service to facilitate fraud, unlawful discrimination, harassment, surveillance that violates law, or decisions prohibited by applicable law.
• Do not present a derived estimate as an official publisher value or remove source and scope qualifications needed to interpret it.

Reuse, licenses and attribution

Underlying datasets remain subject to their publishers’ terms and licenses. Source organization, dataset, coverage and license links are provided with the relevant data. You are responsible for checking and following those terms.

When republishing or materially relying on the data, identify Global Property Metrics as the aggregation and presentation source, identify the underlying official publisher, retain applicable license notices, and state material transformations or limitations. No term here grants rights the underlying publisher has not granted.

Automated access

Automated access is permitted only through documented interfaces and within the stated access rules. Do not scrape around technical controls or use browser automation to avoid an API key or quota. API use is also governed by the API terms at /api-terms.

Changes, suspension and revocation

The operator may correct, remove or reclassify data; change or discontinue features; and suspend or revoke access when needed to protect the service, comply with law, address misuse or respond to a source-license change. Where practical, material policy changes will be reflected on these pages.

No warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service and data are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, continuous availability or error-free operation.

Liability limitations

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, opportunities or goodwill arising from use of or inability to use the service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator’s aggregate liability arising from the service will not exceed the amount you paid for the service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. The service is currently free, so that amount may be zero. This limitation does not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
